Is Tiger the Best?
Tiger has just won his 12th major and all the other players know that, right now he is the best. But why is that? Everyone has access to the same equipment Tiger has. They can practice on the same courses he does. The rules are the same for everyone. So what is it? Simple, Tiger is a better conditioned athlete. “Look at most other sports,” says Rafael Moret, CSCS, creator of The Miami Golf Fitness Program. “If an athlete at a professional level trains hard during the off season, then he or she will most likely show up in good condition for training camp or pre-season, but as the season starts and continues it is only the Elite athletes that continued their progressive training regimens that shine over the rest, and Tiger is no different.”A few years ago when it was reported that Tiger incorporated weight training into his program and that is was giving him an edge, a few of the other players tried it and instantly saw results from this type of training regimen. Tiger Woods said in an interview on PGA.com, “The guys understand that you have to do it now. The game has changed so much. In order to compete and hit the ball as far as some of the guys are hitting it now, you've got to get in there and spend the time. You've got to get stronger and you've got to get more flexible. Look at the scores we're shooting now on the golf courses that are so long, you really have to get in there now. You can't afford not to.” But to get better you have to consistently strive for more and just like every body, every human body that is Tiger had adapted to this and needed more, and not just a workout with weights. Squat and bench pressing might make you stronger but they won’t help your swing or your game. He needed a golf specific strength training program and he need to do it on a regularly during the season and even during the tournaments he plays in. That is what separates him from the pack. Not only is he incorporating an athletic training program for his sport, he is doing it on a consistent basis. Now, you add his superior athletic performance with his knowledge and understanding of the game of Golf and that gives you 12 Majors and 51 victories and years of more supremacy to come.

What to look for in your Golf Fitness Training Program
It is no secret that resistance training exercise will have a tremendous impact in a persons’ athletic performance. Golf is still pretty new to this secret, but is quickly seeing all of the benefits strength training has on a persons’ golf swing, game performance and endurance. In fact any kind of strength training is creating immediate impact on players.
Golf Specific Exercises and Golf Fitness Exercise programs are popping up everywhere, but the truth is this “If you are an avid golfer and have never exercised with weights before and started a very basic strength training program, you would see some improvement to your game” says Rafael Moret, creator of the Miami Golf Fitness Program. “The key is to start a program that delivers not only overall conditioning, but golf specific strengthening exercises and injury prevention techniques with specific stretching for the golf player”.
“As a Golf Fitness Instructor there are very specific things that my clients look for to make their games better” said Rafael. “Golf players are looking to strengthen their backs to reduce lower back pain, develop strength in their swing, add more stability to their stance, and stretch all the muscles that tighten up with their game”. The Miami Golf Fitness Program is divided into 4 segments to help cover all the need of the golf player:
1. Injury Prevention Exercise Drills
2. Total Body Conditioning Circuit and Endurance Program
3. Golf Specific Strength Training Exercises
4. Golf Specific Stretching and Flexibility
In his new FREE Golf Fitness E-Book "The Top Seven Stretches You Need Before You Play" Moret shows how, with a few simple stretches you can increase your golf swing speed, add ridiculous distance to all of your shots, and...ELIMINATE back pain.
